MVS Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 If it was a 600 he was riding like a nonce , he should have been closer round the bends! Think I would have been close to their tails on the exit of that slip road on me old R1100GS Quote
samcooke Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 I was thinking 600 - I know a lot of new 1000s rev that high, but I'm pretty sure they would have got closer on acceleration. Quote
hogman Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 Defo revving too hard for the bigger cc engines, i was more thinking of a 400cc!! Quote
V8grunt Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 Alright!!!! I had a Lambretta...when I was a whipper snapper. Tweaked a bit....225cc, Fuel injection, padded crank, piston skirt shortened by 2mm, Opened ports, Ancillotti silencer, NICE MIRRORS (It would have put a lot of these "Modern" sewing machined, push bicycled "Super biked" engines to shame!!!! ) It would have left all of the so called "Super Cars" standing in the corners and the straight! Thankfully now I've matured I find a nice big V8 does what I want! GRUNT! Quote
