LCD Monitor's...

Following on from the graphics problem thread, it would appear that my monitor is donald ducked, and I'm going to need a new one soon.

What do I need to be looking for in LCD monitors and can somebody recommend me a good one?

Doesn't need to be huge, I'm currently running 1280x960 on a 17" CRT, which is fine for what I need.

TIA

I got a refurbed Hewlett Packard one from Morgan for £100 last year sometime. It's only 15" but I sit closer  :D

If you have access to a Morgan branch it's worth a visit 'cos they don't always advertise stuff that hangs around in the back of their warehouses. I got a 15" CRT at the same time for £10, no guarantee at all but worth a punt. Useful as a spare.

Edited to say that having read DavidR's post I'll 'hush ma mouth'  :durr:

Or you could try Ebuyer they've got own brand ones from £99 inc vat for a 17"

A friend bought one and he recons they're fine, and they are cheap.
