Martin Keene Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Following on from the graphics problem thread, it would appear that my monitor is donald ducked, and I'm going to need a new one soon. What do I need to be looking for in LCD monitors and can somebody recommend me a good one? Doesn't need to be huge, I'm currently running 1280x960 on a 17" CRT, which is fine for what I need. TIA Quote
DavidR Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 How about this one 17" LCD £117 plus delivery from Novatech David Quote
Man On The Clapham Omnibus Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 I got a refurbed Hewlett Packard one from Morgan for £100 last year sometime. It's only 15" but I sit closer If you have access to a Morgan branch it's worth a visit 'cos they don't always advertise stuff that hangs around in the back of their warehouses. I got a 15" CRT at the same time for £10, no guarantee at all but worth a punt. Useful as a spare. Edited to say that having read DavidR's post I'll 'hush ma mouth' Quote
Blacknblue Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Or you could try Ebuyer they've got own brand ones from £99 inc vat for a 17" A friend bought one and he recons they're fine, and they are cheap. Quote
