EDIS / Megasquirt Wiring

Just looking at the wiring on my EDIS module, pin 7 should be the connection for the screen on wires to ECU and the VR Sensor.

My plug has no Pin 7   The Donor Loom had no screen on the VR cable  

Do I need screened cable on these connections? what do I do with the screen at the sensor end (and megasquirt DB37 plug)

At the sensor end you just leave the screen unconnected, it is only connected at the EDIS module end.  At the edis module you just connect to one of the other ground connections.  pin7 being unconnected isn't familiar to me though, so I've just been through my big box of edis modules and out of all of them I did find another one wired like yours so its not an abnormal one that you have.

So, pin 9 would be OK?

EDIS module was of a mondeo Auto.

Any of the earths will do just fine, in the standard ford wiring they all get commoned up a few inches into the loom anyhow.
