SteveC Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 As the title says, does anyone have a jenvey fuel rail with -6 end fittings for a twin throttle body set up. I found out from Jenvey that you cant swap the end fittings, so i have 2 fuel rails with push on tails if anyone wants to swap. cheers, steve
judder Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 what's -6 mean ?, Im puttting TB's together and will be looking for a fuel rail with scrw on fittings, is that what I need ? Sorry to jump in, but at least it keeps your thread up top.
SteveC Posted January 13, 2007 Author Posted January 13, 2007 exactly. The"-6" bit refers to the size of the screw fitting. So you have to spec the screw in end fittings to the rail when you buy it. Push on ones are fine, but i seem to be taking my throttle bodies off too many times
Bazzer Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 Why not get some weld on dash fittings from Think Automotive and get them welded on. Thats what I did with the Ali fuel rail on my Busa Turbo Plenum. Cheers Bazzer
SteveC Posted January 14, 2007 Author Posted January 14, 2007 good idea, how much did it cost to get the ali welding done? anyone got any suggestions for ali welders in the south prepared to do a 10min job I dont think my welding ability is good enough to be 100% fuel tight

SteveC Posted January 14, 2007 Author Posted January 14, 2007 cheers Bazzer, another job on the long list!
