Knightmare
I'll be there for a closer inspection of Adam's prode and joy (weather permitting)!
steppenwolf
Jon, Unless the conditions are awful, he'll be there and no doubt delighted to give you the 'guided tour'. Have the electrical gremlins been banished?
mb893
QUOTE he'll be there Ah, good... I'd hoped the lad would be there - If he's OK with it, I'd like to use his car to test out the black grp side pods I've done. 15" vs 13" rims, tyre width and lock etc etc. jc
steppenwolf
Oooh, nice pods! Have you got that engine/gearbox in yet?
mb893
Yep, well ready to go in, it's all back together and working like a good'un... I've 'just' go to make the carbon engine cover, cut the carbon transmission tunnel panel to suit the propshaft and re-make my own 4x4 twill carbon pods - easy! So I suspect the engine will be put in/taken out several times before the end of the month. See you Sunday... jc
steppenwolf
Do you like carbon fibre then?
mb893
Well, maybe just a little bit.
chappers
Do you like carbon fibre then? Sounds like John has the same carbon fibre affliction as my brother Caterham Keith. He'll soon have a Reverie carbon rear diffuser - to help air flow apparently , though I can't see it making much difference since the car hasn't been out of the garage for ages. Might see you Sunday, unless I'm taking my diff out to take to Road and Race for a QUAIFE ATB . Kev.
mb893
a Reverie carbon rear diffuser Hells bells! At least I make the effort and do 'me own items... Oh, hang on I've just seen the "Cate£ham Owner" bit - This of course explains everything See you Sunday.
