The fuel gauge on my old Westie is in a world of its own. Doesn't register much when full and drops again quite quickly. I think it has attitude.

Maybe the float is punctured.  Can anyone advise or tell me how i get to the sender unit, I don't even know where it is yet, have looked around with a match but no sign yet?

On *most* cars, you will find it on the top of the tank, under the boot box... :t-up:
