Barry Ashcroft Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Evening all QUOTE Though quite why anyone would want a 10,000rpm sewing machine motor in a proper car is beyond me.... You'll fit in nicely here Dave welcome Cooper will eventually learn the error of his ways I here from a source (his misses while he was at an auction) that it's only pride and the ribbbing he'd get here that is keeping him from the ultimate know as V8 Very suppprised your car has no Lsd certainly needs on 3.36 is what you need. Is it worth spending loads of money on it? depends on what it owes you and what you want to do with it. If the ultimate is what your after you can always shift it on and make me and offer Post some piccy's be nice to see it Barry Quote

ian clear Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 You wont need vented discs if you car is used mainly on the road or light track. They add weight and dont give you better braking, just able to dissipate the heat caused by heavy production cars. I have a 4.3l V8 with single discs with Pricess 4pot calipers, which is a good conversion. You can buy various light weight 4 pot caliper kits but you will probably have to change the Master cylinders to smaller diameter units as the pots are smaller in diameter than the Princess units.
