Awards do racewear requirements

First time I've attended the awards event.

I've been allocated 2 reserved parking bays and I'll make sure I get there in time for scrutineering to ensure the correct food/ class assignment and awards (unlikely*  :D ).

I am comfortable that I have the correct safety clothing with all the right scrute labels. However, my double-driver (read SWMBO), is worried that the regulations regarding her racewear are not suitably explicit.

For instance, if she were to compete wearing a cleavaged nomex ball dress and pointy racing shoes, she may be wearing too many layers and fall foul of the start-line marshalls (they are *always* trouble). On the other hand, if she were to compete in proban jeans, tight fitting t-shirt and kinky boots she may be refused entry by the clerk of the course.

So, the question is, what are the appropriate racewear standards for female competitors at the WSCC awards evening?

Would appreciate comments from all competitors, especially those of the female variety.

*read "impossible"

P.S. My double-driver hgas stated that if the advice given ends up with her observing the inappropriate safety standards, therefore precluding her from full participation in the event, she will "f**king well kill me" ;)
