The Great Fandango Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Hi guys It's just a bit too cold to get me fingers out, dirty and frozen today! Would anyone happen to know off the top of their head which brake pads fit into the Wilwood Dynalite Caliper? I presently have greenstuff pads in but a part number for Halfords/Ferrodo etc. would be just as handy? Cheers Kyle Quote
The Great Fandango Posted December 22, 2006 Author Posted December 22, 2006 I deduce one of two things (or possibly both?) (i) Not many people have these Wilwood front caliper kits and / or (ii) the pads take so blimin' long to wear out that no one's bothered replacing them yet (Must say that after nearly 3 years on the car, 5 trackdays in total, there's hardly any sign of wear on my greenstuff pads - have I not been driving hard enough then?) mark.anson Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 Dont know about part numbers but the pad is quite common and and in most ads ive seen it will be refered to as the Dynalite pad. If you check rally designs site the measurements are there for comparison. I have a set of Hawk HB100 pads for sale to fit this caliper if your interested. Theyve been on a car but only for about 100miles. £25.00 inc the postage. Mark Quote
The Great Fandango Posted December 22, 2006 Author Posted December 22, 2006 Mark, Thank you for your help. Basically what I'm doing is compiling a list of all the replacement part numbers for the new owner before he collects the vehicle over the Christmas period (I'm nice like that) I will pass on the message (if he hasn't already seen it on here) about the pads. If anything, as a new owner I'd look at it as a chance to get my fingers dirty so I'd snap them up straight away. What will life without a Westfield be like I wonder? Quote
Westy1700 Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 Rally Design in Kent, not sure of the green stuff number on mine but these guys will sort it for you/him... Quote
Chris.B Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 I've got Hawk Hb100 blue pads in mine. Just referred to as "Dynalite" pads. Quote
