daverobs Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 I have just priced four 7x15 Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 and 205x50x15 Toyo T1S at £514 from the local Halfords, before I buy and then someone makes my chips all wet is is this one of the best deals I can get? The fifth wheel and tyre will cost £141. Thanks Dave Quote
stueyb Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Ever heard the expression "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth..........???" Go for it, that's dead cheap! Quote
perksy Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Had a quick look around and £640 is the cheapest so far... Mate had a Good deal on some Superleggas from Halfords, and managed to knock 'em down even more for cash Might be worth a try Quote
Jenko Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 Can't remember what wheels mine are (pro race 1.?)......anyway, thery are the lightones with the gloss black and writing on the rim......... Hate to say this but I got mine for £350 with Toyo T1R's (brand new)...and that included delivery.......I spent half a day ringing around companies and asking each to beat the price of the one previously......Mentioning what halfords can do them for is always a good move.......Problem is mine came from 'tup north'...but I can't remember where........ I have a minging hangover after last nights works bash.....so apologies for my useless post!....but ring around.... Quote
chappers Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 Ordered my 15" pro race 2 wheels direct from Rimstock. £375 for 5 alloys including fitting kit (16 nuts, spigot rings and centre caps) - plus ordering direct still lallows you to get matt racing black rather than gloss). 5 195/50/15 tyres were £160 from mytyres. Halfords were quite competitive though when I bought mine, but in the end matt black won. If you get wheels and tyres separately you could easily add at least another £50 for tyre fitting. Kev. Quote
Buzz Billsberry Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 If you get wheels and tyres separately you could easily add at least another £50 for tyre fitting.Kev. j30fos Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 I've just brought some of these 4 weeks ago, cost me £410 from wheelbase in oldham Great service and they will haggle :-) Quote
Eccentric_Rich Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 As Chappers has said you can order direct from Rimstock (Team Dynamics). Their number is 0121 5256500, and Andy is the man you need to speak to. He did me an excellent deal on my Pro Race 1.2s and they can supply the wheels with tyres fitted if that's what you require. Richard. Quote
potster Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Halfords price matched wheelbase for me and I paid £399 with 195/50/15 T1s Quote
