timandchris
The manual (that we have pavlovian training to treat with great suspicion) say to drill out 3.3mm holes into the front indiactor stalks and then rivet into them. It already has pilot holes of about 1.5mm Since they seem to be made of cheap plastic, we were wondering if riveting them might actually break them? Perhaps self tappers might be better - it would be a great help if you could let us know what you found works before we bog up some more parts! Barnster
I recall a similar dilemma. On mine, only two of three holes actually lined up so I used a couple of self tappers & the magic silicone sealant.
kipford
Same as Barnster, allows you to easliy remove the light fitting as well Dave
Symbiotic_Caterpillar
I screwed mine in too. The first pod was quite difficult to do, but I enlarged the holes slightly for the second one so that the self-tappers went in more easily. I found that I could get the holes to line up. Just try different orientations because the holes aren't positioned symmetrically.
PaulSpurgeon
Yes same here, I also spoke to WF and they advised self tappers.
