For GOOD recommendations for alarm installers go to a local housing development being built and see if the builder is fitting alarms as standard. Make sure the bell boxes have a phone number on with the name of the installer. If they don't, then the sparky's are probably fitting them. Not saying they are no good but i would say best to get a specialist and they will be able to issue a certificate of approval for your insurance. Go to the sales centre and ask them about the installers and what they are like. The site agent will be a good source of info as well. What ever you do, make sure you inform the local council that you have an alarm installed and give them a list of key-holders to the property as you don't want a fine if they are called out due to noise abatement. A council in our area can fine you up to a max of £5000. Quote
