Engine Block - Cleaning and Painting

Hi folks,

Can anyone reccomend decent products here for cleaning down an engine block and painting it ?

i use gunk or jizer to clean block. and plasticote spray enamel to paint block

if its dissasembled take it down the local engine machine shop and stick it in their hot tank for an hour or 2

I wash all my engines down with TFR and they come up like new

Gunk...Then wire brush in power drill (Cast iron block)

Used Wynn's engine degreaser from Burtons. Works really well with none of the putrid smell of Gunk.

Then Hammerite for the block.

I used Teraclean (Carplan) and it seemed to work well.  I also used an electric drill with a wire brush attachement - yake a look at the following for the results.
