Big R Posted November 18, 2006 Share Posted November 18, 2006 Hi John - I assume you are talking about the filter fitted in the front of the sump on a zetec engine? If so, the answer is yes. Just remove it and clean out any debris you find. It's quite interesting to have a look at what you find...! If you don’t clean it, you could potentially reduce the flow through the pump and into the engine, which you wouldn’t want to do.....be careful when replacing that everything is seated correctly… Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
