Its exactly for the memories you list that this event is run.

Non of this WRC poncy drivers needing a nights kip between stages and in deepest Wales only, oh and four wheel drive and computer driven malarky

If I wasnt marshalling Croft Sat Mon and at Work on Sunday it would definitely be the Woodyard for me

I seem to recollect one of the co-drivers recently, Tony Mason perhaps, saying it was only amphetamines that kept them going.  That might be frowned on a bit today as well......

Poor Jeremy Eeason came to Croft on the Last stage of the event on Monday night, leading Jimmy Mcrae by 19 seconds, although Jimmy had been taking time out of him all day, Jeremy was running a conservative last day. Then the last stage it just died what a buga :( Handing Jimmy the win  :) S*** happens so they say :suspect:

went to Croft to view the owldies round the circuit.. Sounds and the smell of the burning oil took me back 20 years  :D .. but you do forget how slow they were  :(

saying that a couple of the Mk2 Escorts managed the complex fully sideways and were  very entertaining to watch  :t-up:
