I just used a clear silicone seal available everywhere. I bought mine at the Stafford kit car show for about £3.50 plus the applicator gun @ £2 Jeff Quote

There's one developed for caravans (sorry) called Sikaflex 512 which seals/bonds and doesn't set rigid. A good caravn dealer's accesory shop will have it of try a motor factors.
