Boomy Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 Yellow Westy, reg started with R355 i believe. The ironic thing about it was that we currently have an Evo vs Westy type thread running and we were in my mates Evo giving Spencer from these forums a wee demo of it Who ever it was knew the score anyway, we had a quick play before we had to turn off and it was waves all round as he went past. Had we of had more juice and time at that moment we would have pulled over for a chat as i would of liked to let the owner know there were two Westy owning fanatics in the Evo. Maybe someone here knows who it was if the guy doesn't view the forums? Quote
spence Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 Think the second part of the plate was XDR or some thing like that, but don't want to chuck in a red herring. Was concentrating more on my bowl movements than remembering a Reg No. All i can say is that those EVO's are absolute animals.........I NEED ONE NOW!!!!!! Quote
hixxj Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! i remember the day too, was my first weekend of ownership, so was taking it easy Oh and wouldn't have stopped, was having waaaaay too much fun (just done a search for kent on the site to see if anything was going on and up popped this post) You going down to T Wells for that Pistonhead thing on Sunday? Quote
spence Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 This must be the only thread I've seen without the obvious, "It weren't me guvnor, mines red and in a garage" and the driver has replied. Looked like you were having a bit of fun. Will have to have a chat with Boomy about Sunday. What's going on in T Wells then? Quote
adam1330 Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Have a look here. Hoping to go, assuming the weather isn't too bad! Quote
Boomy Posted February 14, 2007 Author Posted February 14, 2007 Could attend this possibly. I went to another piston meet and some nice machines arrived (i have quite a few pics) Will have a chat with you later Spence and give Mark a shout too. Looked like a really nice car by the way hixxj. You should give Spence a ride in it some time, then you can hear him scream and grunt and yell "enough!" just like we did that day Quote
spence Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Oi Boomy less of the cheek and get wooing your woman. It's Valantines day don't you know. Quote

spence Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Your such a romantic. Needless to say Boomy hides his computer screen so his missus can't see it. Yes Darling coming.............. Quote
hixxj Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 Yeah its cracking, but a few tweaks still needed... Hence, busy day for the westy (and my wallet) over the next few days - going to get the shocks changed and suspension setup by those lovely fellas at 7indulgence and then off to see Mr Greenald for the rolling road and engine map. Then down to Brands on Saturday to get them to check how noisy it is, and given that it / I survive all that down to the Pistonheads thingy. Oh, and I'd love to scare the cr@p out of someone else in it... done all my friends and work colleagues now (especially with the roads as bad as they are) Quote
Norman Verona Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 If you go to the P/heads meet say hello to everyone in a Caterham for me. As I'm barred from BC, I can't say hello myself anymore. Quote
The Great Fandango Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 Paddock Wood?... Paddock Wood!?!?!... Geeez!... Please!!! I moved up to Leeds in 1997 to get away from that place! If you drive a Westfield through Paddock Wood you're likely to come out the other side minus the wing mirrors, side screens and possible even find yourself skidding along on bricks!... Pikey-ville! Have to say though... The new(ish) East Peckham bypass section is GREAT for testing out your acceleration and top end speed! (Whitbread Hop Farm to Seven Mile Lane). But you didn't hear me say that! pistonbroke Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 This must be the only thread I've seen without the obvious, "It weren't me guvnor, mines red and in a garage" and the driver has replied. Probably because no self respecting westfield owner would ever want to admit driving in that area Quote
hixxj Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 why do you think we wre driving the westy and evo?? to get out as fast as poss and in defence of paddock wood the *bypass* does do exactly that so you never get to see an inhabitant. Just remember that bit in the film deliverance if you ever break down there Quote
