jbean Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 Permabag works really really well. Just refresh the cannisters in the oven every so often. I kept my bike engined car in my (at the time leaky) box trailer for 10 months while my garage was being built and no rust on anything, including the brake discs. The pong of petrol when you open it is not very nice. They have a humidity meter that gives you an idea when to refresh the cannisters. I also use a dehumidifier in the garage, always have done, the problem with most garages is they have air dry floors, so need a flow of air or damp results. My garage door is sealed so lack of air flow, so to create air flow i use a small fan and a small dehumidifier, works really well, with the fan and dehumidifier off in the old garage used to get damp patches on the concrete floor, with ii on nothing. Just have to switch it off while I am in there as it makes me cough as the air is dry. Quote
