Impact helmets

I'm considering a new helmet and quite like the look of the Impact range as sold by DT. However, they are virtually identical to the Simpson range which I have heard bad reports about with regard to the fit of the visor and draughts into the eyes

Does anyone out there have an Impact helmet and can confirm whether the visor is OK or not with regards to fit and draught?

John, i know someone (Peter Radnall) who has one and he said he was happy with it but as he has a Force single seater I don't think draught is a problem as he sits so low in the cockpit so not much help there I'm afraid

Hi John  I tried an Impact helmet on at DT when I was looking to buy  a lid last year. Went for a Sparco TK in the end, just fitted better.

This is probably of no use to you at all    but I think you need to try one on.

I have the champ one... and I am very happy with it... good finish and quality

it fitted me best out of all the ones at DT.

As was mentioned to me, try loads on and see which fits best...
