Rick S Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 ...specifically in Singapore. Will be nipping through there and have heard that electonic gubbins is reasonably cheap. I was tempted to buy a new camera (I have a 300D) but for what it's worth I think a decent lens would be a better choice seeing as though I've only ever used the "kit" lens on it... Anybody got any comments on likely savings over UK price and any tips on where to go find lenses? We'll also be travelling through the states on the way home so there is a possibility of getting something over there - it's just that UK prices seem much more competitive these days and I'm not sure it's worth it. melt Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Don't know what prices are like over there now (was there in 2000), the main shopping area is Orchard Road - be prepared to barter! Mel Quote
