Mitchamidilly Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 Hmmm that got me thinking too. My son is 2 1/2 and is still not in bed yet I used to love karting. Would be good to get into it again. Edited to say. Congrats woz. I started my son with Scalexrix when he was 11 months old. Now about to go for a RC Nitro car to get him used to the smell. He does not like the smell of me Westie. Just make sure everything has wheels Quote
jeff oakley Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 Congratulations to you both. As for what age, just do what feels right but don't be surprised if he likes football instead of karting, but what ever enjoy his childhood as the time flies by so quickly it will be gone before you notice. adhawkins Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 What sort of age is good to start the lad karting ? You're already too late If you're serious, as early as you can. When I was karting there were kids banging laps in around Reading that didn't look much over 5. Andy Quote

Buzz Billsberry Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Congrats Warren forget karting for the moment. Get him strapped to a skate board, hitch it to the back of the westy and take he for a drive. If he starts screaming then there's no place for him in a car! However if he does not scream but turds his nappy, don't be two concerned thats natural. Cow & Gates go thro' you like a speeding bullit stuck up the A*** of a bat out of hell! Buzz Quote
