Buzz Billsberry Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 I had exactly the same so I left and went to Pipex and haven't had a problem since.Getting 8Mbps as aposed to 2.1 with BT plus £6 PCM cheaper, thats Hoff power for U. Buzz Quote
Arm Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Another vote for Pipex. 4 years good service. Quote
Stuart Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 IspReview.co.uk seem to have a couple of good ones on their top 10 at the mo. Aquiss - up to 8mb with 3GB bandwidth from 8am to 10pm + 30GB 10pm to 8am - £20.99 per month. Even better is NewNet - up to 8mb with 25GB bandwidth and guaranteed no shaping - £18.95 per month. Neither wants you for more than month and migration is free. Since I am still on 512mb (unlimited for £16.99) and my ISP (V21) has just been taken over, I've just asked for a MAC and I think it will be NewNet. Quote
Neil Purdie Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 Ive not had any problems connecting, even though my account is suposed to be suspended I downgraged from 'option 4' to 'option 2'. Since then I have been billed for both services several phone calls to get a refund and my account still shows as 'option 4' and i've been getting bills and letters saying that I owe them money. Now my service is suspended ( dont think so - yet ). Also they dont answer their email complaints within 24 hours, as they say. Still waiting for a reply from Monday. Bunch of incompetent muppets Dont bother with their 0845 telephone numbers, they also have 0800. www.saynoto0870.com Neil Quote
