Hayabusa Engine

Seriously contemplating selling the Westie, buying a old mini and sticking a hayabusa engine in it. Mini’s are cheap enough, Z Cars do a mini conversion See Here The engine however I am not that clued up on.

What is the average price for a second hand Hayabusa engine?

Where should I be looking for one?

And what do I need it to come with? (Throttle Bodies, ECU, other bits and pieces that make it work..)

Have I lost the plot or does this seem like a really good idea to anyone else?

£2-£2500 with all the bits..Richards selling one on the boardroom for £2k ... R1 will be cheaper option ..

Ive chased few bike engined minis on track  and they are not that quick and dont seem to  handle  that well

whats brought this on then?

Pub Banta and a number of pints... always seems like the best idea in the world at the time, would be something to do over the winter tho

I'm guessing Barry's v8 has slightly      more torque
