Hayabusa Engine

Seriously contemplating selling the Westie, buying a old mini and sticking a hayabusa engine in it. Mini’s are cheap enough, Z Cars do a mini conversion See Here The engine however I am not that clued up on.

What is the average price for a second hand Hayabusa engine?

Where should I be looking for one?

And what do I need it to come with? (Throttle Bodies, ECU, other bits and pieces that make it work..)

Have I lost the plot or does this seem like a really good idea to anyone else?

£2-£2500 with all the bits..Richards selling one on the boardroom for £2k ... R1 will be cheaper option ..

Ive chased few bike engined minis on track  and they are not that quick and dont seem to  handle  that well :(

whats brought this on then?

Pub Banta and a number of pints... always seems like the best idea in the world at the time, would be something to do over the winter tho  :t-up:
