spence Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 Went out today for a test drive with Boomy after fitting a new cam. Thought I would share a few pics he took Only problems was sticking front brake's and timing out (only set up by ear). Thanks mate. Quote
Boomy Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 I stuck some up on my space too although i can't include my fave as i entered it for the calender. Some arty farty shots here too which i ran down to the shore and took while Spence removed a wire that made the engine bay look a mess Quote
pistonbroke Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Wow You been busy , fancy paintin all them sheds black an white then re paintin em all in colour again , just for a photo session Seriously , very artistic , them is the best looking bathing huts I ever saw ! Quote
spence Posted October 8, 2006 Author Posted October 8, 2006 them is the best looking bathing huts I ever saw ! What he doesn't show is the recently fired out hut at the front. Also he has done well to airbrush out the Graffiti, piles of ripped open bin bags and the endless supply of doggy 'do doo's', strategically planted in a slalom course for the old age pensioners to dodge in their battery powered buggies. slippy Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Nice pics nice motor I would be changing the rabbit catchers for smaller ones though Quote
Westy1700 Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Excellent photography mate...what camera / lens combinations are you using ? Quote
Major Stare Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Clean car. Tell me that isnt a small neon strip light on the dashboard below the key/switches Quote
Thrustyjust Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Blimey Spence, thats my old car!!!! If you need to know anything about it,mail me.I don't know who changed the wheels and still looks pretty clean. Quote
spence Posted October 8, 2006 Author Posted October 8, 2006 No neon here don't know where the switch is Are you joking thrustyjust What a turn up Bought the car about 7 weeks ago but not done anything to it yet. Best car i have ever bought . Has been really well built with good attention to detail. Best one i looked at for the money. Although i reckon it's gonna be a marraige breaker . The old man can't leave it alone as it is kept round the parents house . He can't believe he's finally got one in the garage, having wanted one from the minute he saw the 7. Quote
Boomy Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Excellent photography mate...what camera / lens combinations are you using ? An old Olympus E10 mate and a tad of paintshop messing/cropping.Nothing too fancy in camera terms these days. I mostly leave it on auto and just point and click.Lens wise you can't change them on the E10 as such, so it uses whatever is stuck to the front from the factory Quote
pistonbroke Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 It's the artist not the brush that paints the picture Quote
Thrustyjust Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 Thrustyjust you have a pm. yes Spence got it and yes I knew it was from the moment I saw it.I had 13 inch rims with Yokos on it and looked better IMHO.The grill is different and yes its a marriage breaker!!!!! Glad its being used and the neon, was put in by my mate Jules who bought it from me when I needed to sell it.I had it between me and the then G/F for nearly 5 years.Yes,I put a lot of detail into it,as I bought it unused almost from the previous guy, which cost a bit and a missus. She said car or her and I packed her bags.Car was good, missus was average If you want to know its history mail me a number to call you. Thrustyjust Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 Oh and the little bulge above the carb was moulded from a lamp post lightbulb in fibre glass and then moulded on,before the whole car was painted Jaguar racing red. Quote
