Tigger Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 If possible, does anybody have some decent photo's of the new style bodywork I could use on my website. I've got a couple but the car is surrounded by bods at the stoneleigh show and I'd really like some of the whole car not cluttered with legs and elbows. Ta muchly Tigger Quote

Tigger Posted October 7, 2006 Author Posted October 7, 2006 Mark, Cheer mate, that's just what I was after BTW: Nice shed and that Trike is something else Tigger Quote
Keith@FM Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Mark, do you mind if I use those pictures on my website? Full credit, naturally. I want to use it here Quote
markboyce Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 Hi Keith, Your site looks good. Keep the updates on the site going as it will be great to see how it progresses. The pics on my site came from the factory thus ownership belongs with them. They did not raise any problem with me hosting them however. edit: I have no problem to you helping yourself. edit 2: Your car seems to be somewhere in the Atlantic Cheers Mark Quote
Blacknblue Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 I've not got the full new body, but have almost finished retro-fitting the new bonnet to my car. With a bit of luck and some sunshine I should get it cleaned and photos done this weekend. If it's of any use to you. Quote
Tigger Posted October 11, 2006 Author Posted October 11, 2006 Hi Blacknblue, Yeah post some up or email them to me, can't have toooo many pictures of a westfield can you BTW: Looks sweet with the new nose on it, did you have many problems retro fitting it? Cheers Tigger Quote
Keith@FM Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 As long as my car is ON the Atlantic and not IN the Atlantic, that's fine Mark, I'll ask the factory for permission. I keep asking for pictures of the nose, they don't send that one to me. I'll be able to take lots of pictures of our car when it arrives anyhow. In the meantime, Blacknblue, can I use that shot of your car? Quote
Blacknblue Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 Tgger It wasn't too bad to fit, fitting the bonnet locks in it was the worst thing as I didn't want to move the bit of the lock already fitted to the chassis. so it was a case of working a bit blind and transferring measurements from the old bonnet. The only other thing was I had to trim a bit off the front return where the hinge fits in order to get it to line up with the existing bodywork, guess my bodywork is about 1/4 further back on the chassis than is ideal. Still have to fit the headlights, but the brackets are on. Keith and Tigger Yes feel free to use the pics, if you can wait till the weekend I'll get you some better ones in higher res, with headlights fitted too Quote
Tigger Posted October 11, 2006 Author Posted October 11, 2006 I'll wait then - Cheers B&B Tigger Quote
Blacknblue Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 OK, finished it now Tigger, Keith I've sent you a mail with some pictures. Quote
Blacknblue Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Thanks, I'm pleased with it, only taken me 3 months to get around to fitting it too That's a lot better than the Raceline sump which took me 3 years to do. And before anybody says no it didn't take 3 years to fit it, it just sat in the garage for 3 years before I fitted it. All I have to do now is some tidying under the bonnet, silicon hoses that sort of thing, with those big grills you can't hide much. Quote
