wheel and tyre delivery

Hiya,

I am looking to get some wheels and tyres delivered to Scotland from midlands, anyone suggest a good firm that will do this but not have to get a mortgage to pay for? parcel force quoted £87 for 48 hour delivery.

I got some sent via APC from wigan to cambridge for £30.  It was a bit odd though as APC wigan wanted £30 but would only do it if i lived in wigan, APC cambridge wanted £100+.  Needless to say I pretended I lived in wigan

Don't know if this is of use, I recently used Turbo Couriers in Leamingon (01926 886446) to deliver a set of 4 huge tyres off the Rangie up to the Leeds area.

Total weight was 92kg(!!), cost was around £54.  Parcel Farce wanted over £80 I think...

I used UPS to get a gearbox collected from a WSCC member in Scotland and delivered to South Wales.  Cost me about £35 IIRC (DHL wanted about £100).  You just have to register with them before hand, and can even declare that one end is a residential address.

Ive had good success with Inter Parcel. Work the same way as Parcel2go.com but they seem alot more reliable with collection.

have used parcel2go.com loas, they have messed me around twice. other than that great service  

wheels normaly have to go as two parcels, dearest should be £26.00 next day delivery.

even sent a typewriter to texas, collected from me friday morning, delivered to the buyer first thing monday morning !!
