Boomy Posted September 14, 2006 Author Posted September 14, 2006 drool.did the touching up include soft focusing the background of the paddock shots? Yeah, on most anyway, it's not depth of field settings and all that jazz. I just like the way it makes the cars stand out and it only takes seconds to do. I never go to such places to take nice pictures, i just like to remember what we have seen.Every now and again i just stop and click the button. When i get home i drag em off the card and give them a bit of personal polish. What you see is what i like to see, all be it much smaller and at a lower quality due to the compression, simple as that really. One day i may get some decent equipment and set my self up on a corner along with all the other big boys though. It must be nice to be able to get pin sharp action shots from miles away. But then i am lazy if i'm honest, despite messing with my camera from time to time, at places like that i just leave it on auto mode.I'm not sure i could be arsed to learn how to get the best from something even more complicated Quote
