I got my westy registration sorted today with a little hassle as  DVLA  insisted that any major parts you state as new must be stated as new on your recepts i.e my gearbox receipt did not but I rang the guy I purchased it from and he was kind enough to fax them straight away and I got me a new reg

So make sure you get a receipt with ' new and unused ' on it
