stu.graham Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 Pilots Licence ? That cars a Legend Scott must go at 11k What a Bargain for some lucky sod. Be sorry to see it go . You must have a bl**** fine reason for selling. Is it to fast fer ya. Having had a ride in it on Thursday, I must say it does go very very well, the power delivery is exceptional, very drivable indeed! Must agee with Piston Broke, it will be a bargin for some one Quote
alan dixon Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 Scott, is there a prezzie for the correct guess Quote
Gromit Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Eh Scott......................shhhhh.......mums the word. Quote
SallyH Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 When you get 11K for the pretty Westie, get yourself a Canon mk11n, Canon F2.8 70-200, F2.8 300, some accreditaton and I'll see you trackside (you won't regret it).......You might even have a bit of change for some fish 'n' chips! All the best Sal Quote
scott beeland Posted September 12, 2006 Author Posted September 12, 2006 Stoneleigh 07 will probably see it up for sale. Got a few bits to do over the winter (v8 bonnet/bigger rad etc...) and it seems a shame not to get some more fun out of the storming engine Quote
scott beeland Posted September 20, 2006 Author Posted September 20, 2006 Been to drive an N/A VX220 today and The Boghouse is............................................................................... NOT FOR SALE Well; not till Ive driven a VXT anyway Quote
Phil. S Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 Been to drive an N/A VX220 today and The Boghouse is............................................................................... NOT FOR SALE Well; not till Ive driven a VXT anyway I don't think you'll be impressed by the turbo either. It's 200bhp and heavier than an Elise. To give you some comparison, I could keep up with a 270bhp supercharged Honda Elise (with a decent driver) at Brands in my little 170ish bhp Westy. Your Westfield would leave mine way behind, and the VXT even further. Quote
Al Yupright Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 You can up the power reasonably easily on the 220 Turbo to getting on for 300bhp! Westie is a better track-car no doubt. Also good if you like tinkering. But the Elise/VX220 is a miles better road car and is better if you wanna drive, pose and sometimes take the wife with you. And have a bigger budget for servicing etc that you'd do yourself with a westie... Quote
Matt Seabrook Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 Scot keep the Westfield I have driven a VX220T on track and it’s not a patch on even a half way descent Westfield IMO Quote
Bananaman Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Scott You've just spent a fortune on the car WFT are you thinking about, get out there and enjoy.......... Andy Quote
