nre Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 I've now put a write up of the day, plus some pics, on my website. Click Here! Had a great day, nice to meet you all, hope you weren't too peeved at the result (I shall say no more...but needless to say I'm chuffed!) These are the full extent of the photos, but if anyone wants a full res version of a specific shot(s), just let me know... Cheers, Neil Quote
GlennB Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Neil, Good write up and a great day..... Im glad you've got a couple of pictures in of me. When you Steve can you ask him I can have a copy of any pics and the vid he took of me. Ive got a couple of guys interested in hiring Curborough. Let me know if you are interested. Glenn Quote
langy Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Nice website Neil Found the write up on the Academy 1, I'd almost forgotten about that I definantly think i've forgotten about the Mojo pulling away from me Sean Quote
nre Posted September 9, 2006 Author Posted September 9, 2006 Glenn- will see Steve on Monday, will give him a nudge. Should be able to host the piccies/vid for a short while... As for hiring, I think I'll prob have seen enough of Curborough this year (my novice drive in the Caterham on 8th Oct will be my third visit of 2006...), but next year is a definite possibility! Sean- Was good to bump into you at Curborough at the WSCC day a couple of months back. Mojo is still turning heads. One of these days people might start selling their Westies for one... Neil Quote
Ian Podmore Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 There's an MSA registererd club somewhere close at hand...... Quote
nre Posted September 12, 2006 Author Posted September 12, 2006 There's an MSA registererd club somewhere close at hand...... Unfortunately it looks as though I've got to join either the MAC or one of the invited clubs to be able to do the Sprint on 8th October. So unfortunately I won't be joining the WSCC just yet... Otherwise my cheque would've been on its way! Neil Quote
John Loudon - Sponsorship Liaison Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 If I were you i would join Shenstone and District Car Club as they own Curborough and its cheap a £15 per year. You also get the perks of being able to hire the track for small groups of testing. John Quote
nre Posted September 15, 2006 Author Posted September 15, 2006 Unfortunately SDCC are not one of the invited clubs to the 8th Oct meeting, so I'm joining the MAC. It's pricey, but given that I plan to go spectating at Shelsley next year a few times, it works out OK, as joining up now gives me membership until the end of 2007, with free spectator entry to all MAC events for me and one other person.
