scott beeland Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 Who had to double take at the title? Anyhoo... Anyone remember/taken part in The Lancashire Thrash in the past? It was a WSCC trackday run at 3 sisters in a similar format to The Harewood day. Hasn't happened for a good while but I'd be interested in ressurecting it... Going to approach the circuit owners in next week or so to see if it's feasible. Quote

detailer Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Did trackday at 3 sisters 8 years ago. Great little track in Wigan. Perfect for people with not much power with corner after corner putting the emphasis on driver and setup as opposed to horsepower. I'd be up for it Quote
Mark Stanton Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Thanks Scott fingers crossed that plans come together Quote
Buzz Billsberry Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 I think we should ressurect Scammonden I really miss the Tropical sunsets of that place! Ahhh Scammonden the Golden Days of the Speed Series... It was the 1st time I've ever canoed a westfield up a hill in the Speed Series! Buzz Quote
Mark Stanton Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 Pete if you can grab about 5 or 6 folks together to set up Scammonden about 2 days prior to event in mowing the grass, marking paddock and sweeping track of sheep pooh, then you might have a chance Last time it was used ............... Barney, Rocket Ron, Nob Ravin and a few others all worked their socks off in prepping the place so it could be used Quote
