Yeah, figured I had to spin on a wet lap like that, so I left it until I crossed the line

I thought it was that funny bar on the front that was supposed to break the timing beam not the end  

IIRC footage such as this was strictly verbotten under the MSA regs (unless one had written permission signed in triplicate )when I used to race but it may have changed nowadays

I think it varies. Some places you have to have the circuit owners permission. The scrute yesterday made me get permission from the CofC, but all he was concerned about was that the Scrute said it was mechanically secure and that the circuit didn't mind.
