Where has all the old data gone?

Recommended Posts

I've been looking for a post I answered back in 2004 regarding the length of the older SE circa 1989-1992 ish but there is nothing on the board earlier than Feb 2006

Have I missed something or has all the early posts gone?

My searches show much the same tigger btw.

??? i can see stuff back to 2003 if you search for prelit

maybe the originator deleted it?

interestingly (admittedly probably only to me as I work in software testing :D ) it looks like older posts started by non members have been removed but the replies from members still remain.

so tiggers reply should be on there somewhere I reckon.

Anyway, I best get back to testing stuff i get paid for  :xmas:

Hmm does for me too, yet searching for a username showed only the year 2006 results.

Unless i cocked it up of course.

A search for "narrow and cockpit" gets these results.

The Boardroom software doesn't, AFAIK, remove any posts from any user, member or not. And I can't imagine anyone has time to do it manually.

Maybe you're just no good at searching :p:D
