Building SEIW using Type b LSD and donor sierra 4x4 shafts that when setting up are too long. told by help desk need shorter shafts supplied by westfield, they seem too short

They shipped out LH/RH Mk 2 shafts

I am using Hub with caliper mounts and ABS stub shaft from 4I Sierra

Parts man said I should be able to use the donor shafts

Now confused.com

Sierra short shaft is 510mm

Can anyone advise?

Welcome :)

Is this for an SDV? I assume so.

It could be that instead of SDV rear wishbones, you have been supplied with SEI wishbones which, AIUI are shorter.

I'm not an SDV expert though....

Hi

Blatman is probably right on this ( he usually is )  :p

TBH techy questions might better being posted on the techy forum  :t-up:

Reason being, not every wessy expert visits these pages, as the usual drivel posted here is of no value to the anoracs amongst us  :p

good luck with yer build

Hi! Good points from you both. I will put the post on the tech forum, The kit was bought as an SEIW  SVD 2.0 ltr Sierra with normal diff and drum brakes. The original owner bouight the 4x4 shafts and type B LSD Hubs and stub shafts to upgrade.

Keep it coming Im soaking this gen up, not so good with the less obvious acronyms though :)
