Camcorder help

I'm trying to by a cheap camcorder on ebay that i can use with a bullet cam in my race car.  I know it needs to have an AV in connection but some of them are digital connections not analogue. am i correct in thinking the analogue connector is a femal jack socket colour coded yellow?

Yes, it's a female 'Phono' plug and yellow, red and white are the audio inputs.

What make and model is the camera ?

make sure it has    AV in  (minature jack audio/video )

Its different from the phono plug connection used for video in /out

its a cannon MV700i

AFAIK all Canon models designated with an 'i' have an AV-in socket
