Lurksalot Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 PM sent Mark Am I wrong then to think that the SS classes are the same at each event ? and that the SS classes may differ from the organising clubs classes? Quote
Mark Stanton Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 Kevin SS classes are same at every event and yes they may differ from on the day event classes, this is common for all championships Can we start a new Q thread please Mark Quote
Richard M Green Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 The Speed Series classes are defined and constant throughout the year, BUT the classes on the day may vary hugely. For example: Sometimes all Westfield in one class (Goodwood), Sometimes classes as per Speed Series (Curborough WSCC) Sometimes classes on the day similar to Westfield classes except that roadgoing kit car class permits aeroscreens and List 1B tyres (Goodwood, Llys Y Fran, Llandow, Wiscombe, Lydden - see a pattern emerging??) With the exception of WSCC Curborough there are no novice/expert classes anywhere.... HTH Quote
Lurksalot Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 many thanks to all I shall digest all this info and start a new thread if anything crops up Quote
adhawkins Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 Please do not put people off entering events by misinformation, just because they are not a registered Speed Series competitor! That certainly wasn't my intention Andy Quote
