nlash Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 Just opened my email from BaT saying that due to the good weather, the redevelopment of the Anglesey circuit has been brought forward and the above trackday is cancelled. They have offered a refund or transfer of the funds to another event. I was really looking forward to this, trackday Friday, photographing SS on Saturday and Sunday. has the SS event been affected too? Quote
adhawkins Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 I started a thread on their forums asking about this. They seem to think that weekend events aren't being affected as of yet. Great shame about the track day though Andy Quote
Mark Stanton Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 Construction industry workers/developers tend to work very similar hours to majority of UK between monday to friday and have weekends off to enjoy hobbies and spend time with families I can have safety boots, hard hats and flourescent site jackets available for hire if needed Good job one of us is in regular contact with sprint event organisers ................. but hey if I do get notice of any cancellations ......................... I'll keep it secret Quote

Mark Stanton Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 sssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhh that's supposed to be a trade secret glad you never metioned the 2 hour lunch break and 1 hour tea breaks Quote
peterg Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 Gill started work (at home) at 8:30am and is still talking to the Vancouver HQ now via Skype, she did have 30 mins to sit down to the dinner I'd cooked but otherwise she's been 'at work' since she got up - mind you, I have made her 9 cups of tea so far....that's nearly as many as 'construction workers have in a working day isn't it? Mark Stanton Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 Gill's just a part-timer - tea drinker that is Quote
