Buzz Billsberry Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 Enjoyed the meet tonight and it was good to see some old friends I haven't seen for ages.I can't believe its only 37 miles from my house to the Manchester meet and dead easy to find. Myself, Mike Dixon & MuttleyBoy had a bit of an impromtue meeting about Le-mans for and it looks like 2007 will evolve into something so much better and so much more enjoyable than it was this year yes believe it it is possible!! Karl Woolf Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 It was a good night Thanks for the photo`s Mike and the cycle wings Craig 3 of us manged to get split up on the run out, however one of those was Malc in his XTR2 who spent most of his time in my rear view mirror. I must say when you see these cars in static displays it doesn`t do it justice for when its on the road, a really amazing looking car from any angle with a real road presence. Nicer than any ferrari or lambo I`ve ever been on the road with looks like it has taken the wrong turn of a race track especially with them both donning white helmets. Also well done to Malc, the roads we ended up on were I would consider bumpy in my westy, but no complaining of lack of clearance. Just got to work out wether I can e-bay one of the kids Quote
scott beeland Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 The "proper" run out was a good 'un too.....But rushing that pint of golden origional lager before we left was a bad mistake Some nice motors there and good company as always. Martini Mikes recent exploits in China had us all amused.... A genuine Del Trotter if ever there was one Oh and I too want an XTR Quote
pistonbroke Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 QUOTE What happened to Piston broke 1 & 2 , No shows!!! Just couldn't for the life of me decide what to wear dunno about PB2 Quote
