Ian Podmore Posted August 6, 2006 Author Posted August 6, 2006 Planned, at this early stage? Just been away for the weekend, camping near A515 between Ashbourne and Buxton. Spent the early morning today listening to the huge numbers of bikes out for an early morning blat round the Peak District. I'll dig out the route I had before and see if it still fits. We would be aiming to be back from lunchtime. I'll get a route posted up for mid-week latest. SWMBO may join me this time as well. Quote

KerryS Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Just checked the weather forecast and, sorry to report, it's cr*p. Seemingly solid rain most of the day. And I've just washed the car, so it's my fault.. Kerry Quote

And I've just washed the car, so it's my fault.. Kerry Just watched the BBC broadband weather forecast.... Looks like rain for the morning, just like the last time we tried to do this route. Oh well, just doing the 'detail' planning, I'm tempted to do it regardless of the weather Anyone else insane enough to turn up regardless of the weather? Quote
itguy Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 I could still be tempted - saves me washing the car Anyone else going to give it a try? Quote

lespaul Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Will really depend on the weather in the morning, as I can't see my 6 year old son finding getting soaked much fun. Typical British weather, was really looking forward to this aswell Darren Quote
Ian Podmore Posted August 13, 2006 Author Posted August 13, 2006 The rains not here, the forecast still has a total covering of rain in the area..... Just typical, let's hope they have got it totally wrong. Quote
