Ian Podmore Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 Our next run out is on Sunday 13 August. Two possible options are to either do the run round Rutland Water / Leistershire area that was aborted due to bad weather, or do another run around the Peak District - taking in the Snake Pass and the Northern side more this time. We'll leave from the Clock at Shardlow in the morining as normal, plus any other meeting points on the way. We should be back for about lunchtime. Who's up for it, and what area do you fancy going to? Ian Quote

lespaul Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 I could be up for this, Leicestershire sounds good to me too. Will a newbie in a 1.6 CVH be able to keep up Darren Quote
Ian Podmore Posted August 3, 2006 Author Posted August 3, 2006 Leicestershire it is then, I'll enquire about hospitality at a members pub just South of Rutland water for refreshments. Anyone can keep up (within reason), don't worry about that Darren. We don't drive round like lunatics, but will enjoy a road when we can Quote

itguy Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Sounds like a good plan to me Roughly how long are we looking at? Just got a new dog so both Sarah and I can't be out of the house too long. Either just me or Sarah and me will attend Quote
Hammy Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 I'm game & will be there unless its raining. Don't care which route we go as I've not done either. Thx for organising, looking forward to it. Paul. P.S. To whoever has my "classic steel" spare wheel - are you going on this ? if so can I have my wheel back at 8:55 (!), I'd like a spare for this run or ideally b4 (might be being "corner weighted" next Wednesday - only if it makes a difference ? ??) Ta. Quote
