IMO, layout not as good as Keevil, but the surface is good and plenty of room for blatting passed peeps.

I thought it was a good airfield layout and had a lot of fun back in May. There's a couple of slow cone chicanes which are a bit irritating, but there's a faster one which is fun.

I'd go there again. I was hoping to be able to make it for this one, but getting the car ready for Silverstone has been rather expensive (changing the UJs, upgrading to Polo rad and replacing all the brake parts), so I'm afraid Abingdon is out of the question.  If I even mentioned another track day in August my wife would kill me. Really!

I think it's a great track for Westfields, small and twisty....Agree with Phil though, that the chicanes slow you down too much....but, this does make the track great for us seven owners, as the Porkers can't keep up....(of course, if it was one long straight, they would leave me standing!!!).

I'm booked for my 1st car trackday!, only done bikes before...

Its all come round a bit quickly, loads of work to do on the car before friday.

Me and Dad will be there with Dad driving in the morning and me driving in the afternoon. It was good to see the guys who made it to Goodwood. I hope you enjoyed the show

Goodwood was fab.....Really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, and the fact that people didn't mind you perving over thier cars.........Missed you main run though Rob....How did you and your dad do in the end???.......

P.S. see you Friday.....I'll be leaving around 7:30am, so will be hacking up the A34 around 8am, and hopfully stopping for a cuppa at M4 A34 services at around 8:20......I'll be driving the Westie and not trailoring as I'm a double 'ard B'stard.......Not that I'm jelous of you chaps who have nice Trailors of course
