Hope your engine is not too serious Glen. Setup is the key to these cars I was running a crossply setup on Radial yesterday and it does spoil the fun of the car. THese cars are mainly about the handling. Had a plug in the plate on the breather vibrate loose to I have a bit of oil misting in the engine bay. I hate oil leaks !!!! Car ran really well though, little bit more mapping for small throttle openings and its going to be great. Bazzer Quote

ChrisG Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Top day, in fact it rates as one of the most enjoyable trackdays I've ever done I reckon. A great circuit, perfect weather and despite this....... a minor mechanical glitch in the morning when the inlet pipe into the (totally standard Yamaha) oil/water cooler cracked which limited me to 2 sessions before lunch, I still managed to do a total of 160 track miles and a further 6 sessions in the afternoon once I'd bypassed the cooler. (...and no I didnt clamber under the car with only a scissor jack for support! ) Quote
