MONICA Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 Me and Si & dogs will be arriving friday evening and staying over in camper until sunday. We will bring the gazebo tent - just in case of bad weather - (remember last year!). As for music - we will bring some tunes to play - but only on our little mini hi-fi we carry in the camper - no party speakers this year i'm afraid! - but it was enough to annoy the neighbours a couple of years ago!!! - remember the bloke in his underpants!!! - still - looking forward to seeing everyone for beer, chat and QIETER music. neilwillis Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 By law, in urban areas you're allowed to use your car horn till 11pm, so where they get this idea that there can be no vehicle movements on a public show ground WITH planning permission to hold shows, which as far as I can recall is miles from the nearest habitation is beyond me. I suspect the organisers are on a power trip, and all this about complaints is total bunkum. I for one will be voting with my feet. Sorry guys, but isn't it about time we withdrew ur support from this mediocre show that is only made half decent by our attendance? Frankly it's just not worth the hassle. Boycott it, and lets find somewhere else to go for a weekend - without the hassle. Quote
scott beeland Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 I'm voting with my feet and taking in some more glorious welsh roads. Tent; beer and bbq will be loaded up and I reckon I can be as noisy as I like and no one will hear Quote
cast iron Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 Its not the organisers. Its the council. We can still have a good time with out the Loud music IMHO. Saturday night at Harewood was OK wasnt it. Looking forward to seeing all those who come along Quote
