markcoopers Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 Just sorting a few details with Mr John Cooke now. Space being reserved as per last years show, but the showground and not European Promotions, have published some pretty tight noise restrictions. When I get the full details I will post these up, but in outline: No noise after 10.30pm, No vehicel access after 10.00pm. I repeat these are measures that the showground have introduced in responce to their licencing requirements following local residence complaints. This is in no way aimed at the Westfield club, or indeed teh Great Northern Kit and Car Builder Show, as the showground are booked 52 weeks a year and all mannor of events take place. However I'm duty bound to make you all aware of this. Mark Quote
brianm Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 Is this event any better than it was about 3 years ago, when all the cars got shoe horned into a space loittle bigger than a cricket pitch?? The tractor auction got the rest of the space, Please tell me this has changed/improoved. Is it worth attending?? B. Quote

Emma Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 O/T what the hell is flood control?? I just tried to post again, and was told to wait!!! Anyway back to the Harrogate show, does anyone have a big field we can all camp in and get drunk and play loud music, as an alternative? We were considering coming back from hols a day early, but there seems very little point if we have to be tucked up in bed by 10pm!!!!! Quote
