windy Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 Quaife Pro synchro type 9, 5 speed straight cut box. Long input shaft version in heavy duty capri V6 casing. Ratio's 2.04 1st, 1.60 2nd, 1.21 3rd, direct 4th, 0.87 5th, i.e. ideal high top for motorway cruising. Freshly rebuilt with new synchros / bulk rings by Phil Stewart at Road & race, not used since rebuild. Originally bought new by me direct from quaife & built / maintained reqularly all its life by Phil Stewart. Used in my Westfield & always filled with Redline MTL oil. Casing also has layshaft bearing cover mod so no nasty oil leaks. If you are after a short input shaft version, this can be swapped by Phil Stewart no problems.
