BuGsBuNnY Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 For your safety, 9/11 will do. Miss the year Thats an easy one to remember Quote
Blatman Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 I use Outlooks calendar function. It's pretty easy... Quote
Guest Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 I use Outlook calendar linked to my phone. However this is not foolproof.... At breakfast one morning, having my cereal, not saying a word, the phone goes. Look at the message Look up at SWMBO Oh! Happy birthday dear. Who said romance was dead Quote
Blatman Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 Nothing is foolproof, but *everyone* is likely to have Outlook or Outlook Express. I tend to set remnders for all *important* dates (Birthdays, car/bike MOT's and insurance renewals) several days in advance Quote
JonZet Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 I use Outlook synched with a smartphone. You get the full version of Outlook with the phone so it is not a pre-requisite to own (or 'own' ) Office. If you want to snooze a reminder you can. Try 1 hour snoozes - pi$$es you off so much you just have to do the job .. Quote
adhawkins Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 Yes, the key is to have the reminder go off about a week in advance Andy Quote
