a4gom Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 Not sure as I wasn't there but from the pictures it looks as though you were using the end nearest the entrance and the planes/museum. If you use the far end of the runway it hardly touches your tyres I appreciate that doesn't help you now but for future reference. I did a rally there once and the top boys were putting new tyres on every stage we did 4 sets of tyres and on a single venue on a budget thats not good. Quote
Glen H Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 Buzz yeah Buzz it was acracking day for it, shame mine was cut short with a dead alternator at lunch. Big thanks for all the push starts, and to Glen H for swapping batteries backwards and forwards to get me home <!--emo& Yeah, thanks for leaving us with a flat battery and a uphill push start We had a great day, the missus had some good driving in the mornings Novice sessions and plenty of sun in the afternoon. first time i've had the Duratec on track, engine pulls nice, developed a misfire between 3-4k rpm but that should get sorted on Friday at Northhapmton MotorSport, and ready for Oulton on the 15th Quote
