Ted Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 From what I understand, you need a serial/USB adapter lead so you can use a USB port. Out of interest, which MBE ECU are you using? Quote
Peter M Posted June 29, 2006 Author Posted June 29, 2006 I think its 967, the standard sort of one that westfield supply with fuel injection. Quote
Ted Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 If it is a 967 then Easimap 5 is the recommended software but if you have a 956E (as my 2005 module build Sport1800 did )then Easimap 4 is recommended. Ted Quote
KerryS Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 Peter Easymap5 is what you want. Plenty of laptops do not have the required serial input now, you need a USB to serial lead. I got mine off some website for about £9 after the "How much??!!!!" in PC World. It came with a driver on a mini-CD. Kerry Quote
Peter M Posted June 30, 2006 Author Posted June 30, 2006 Cheers Kerry, would you remember which site. Quote
