ricdiggle Posted June 5, 2002 Posted June 5, 2002 Hi all, I keep on buying Billie Holiday CDs in the vain attempt to get hold of a version of 'God Bless The Child'. You know, the one from the old VW Passat Adverts. Trouble is, all the CDs I have purchased have this really naff version of the song. It's about half the tempo and sounds like it was produced by a 'white guy' who didn't really understand what he was producing! Anyone tell me what Album the good version appears on? Mark Stanton, I'm sure you'll know. Also, Can we post anything for sale, or just Westfield related bits and bobs? Thank you kindly. Quote
Mark Stanton Posted June 5, 2002 Posted June 5, 2002 I'll have a rummage through my BH albums - I know the one you mean Not sure if I got it though If I have I'll do you a copy. Well Smithy posted something about a magazine collection so why not Lets have another debate (not) Quote
ricdiggle Posted June 5, 2002 Author Posted June 5, 2002 Good man Mark, I must say the three albums I've bought so far are brilliant anyway so I might just keep making these happy mistakes and trying to find it. Now, I have a CD player (Cambridge Audio CD4) (£30) A Surround sound AV Amp (Sherwood) (£50) A pair of Wharfdale 7.3 floorstanders (awesome bass) (£40) A full set of Phillips surround speakers (front L+R, centre and a pair of dipole rears) (£ 40 the lot) A Parker Fly Delux Electric guitar (offers over £1000) A tascam 4 track Minidisc recorder. (£400 ono) [bargain] Oh bolox, should have put that in the for sale bit eh? Quote
