tankerman24 Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 My friend went out in her New MX5 the other day, she was wearing a short skirt, earlier she had rubbed cocoa butter with shimmer on her body now its all over her leather seat and she wants me to try and get it off. any ideas what might be best, dont want to damage the leather. thought the title would make you look Quote
Mrs Westy Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 Nivea cream on a piece of kitchen roll works well for curry stains on our leather sofa, so might be worth a try in the absence of some autoglym. Quote

a4gom Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 tongue. on a more serious note i concur with jeff, you would be amazed wher we have used baby wipes. If only we had found them without having to have kids. Quote
JeffC Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 tongue. tongue would be more effective for removing said butter from friends legs Quote
Mrs Westy Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 baby wipes Good point - for those of you who don't know, baby wipes are also great for getting biro out of fabric. Takes a few minutes of massaging it around but it dissolves it great See, you ask a simple question and before you know it, it's turned into the 'top tips' section of Woman's weekly Quote
a4gom Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 just read it again and i've got it off all ready Quote
JeffC Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 See, you ask a simple question and before you know it, it's turned into the 'top tips' section of Woman's weekly yikes, I shouldnt have known the answer (or admit to it ) but 3 with kiddies with dirty mits we must have shares in baby wipes Quote

Blatman Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 While we're on the subject of cleaning tips, shaving foam (NOT gel ) is great for getting all sorts of stains out of non leather clothes and carpets. It may work on leather as well, but I've never tried... Quote
